The sculpted curves of the dress are inspired by abstract artist Jean Arp’s sensuous and biomorphic gilded brass sculptures.
The structure of the dress is a cage of boning supported by an inner bobinette corset that shapes the waist. From there, the structure is smoothed out with padding, draped in a fabric of golden paillettes and lined in a fine silk duchesse to create the asymmetric sculpted gown which took approximately 250 hours to complete.
The look is accessorized with a dramatic gilded wing choker & ring that were meticulously cut, shaped & polished out of feather-weight brass and encrusted with Swarovski glass crystals by artisans in Rome, Italy.
